Warnings About the Post-Modern, Liberal, Emerging Church Movement Video

Are you, your church, or someone you know unknowingly being influenced? If so, where is it heading?

Please note: I do not say the things I say in this video to be mean or to offend anyone. Rather, I say what I say out of genuine Christian love, concern, a growing burden, and out of a clear conviction of what dangers I see coming on many in our churches.

I would suggest? setting aside a couple of months visiting local Christian churches. An ideal church will be having regular Bible studies, prayer meetings, preaching out of the Bible, and be warm and welcoming. I will also end you a PM re. becoming a Christian.

He/she is right in ...
He/she is right in some respects. However, there are still many good churches out there and fellowship is really vital. Jesus said where 2 or 3 are gathered in His name He is in the midst (Matt. 18:20) and the writer of Hebrews says? that we are not to forsake the gathering of ourselves together (Heb. 10:25).

I'm wanting to ...
I'm wanting to become a Christian but another Christian on youtube said to keep away from the churches because they are corrupt and they twist God's word. They want to be apart of the system, not the Kingdom of God. They only tell people what they want to hear and care about money and he said that it's full of sinful hypocrites and that Jesus doesn't dwell in buildings made by men, he only dwells inside of us when? we are good and that a relationship with Jesus can only save us.

thanks for the link. sadly articles about the pope in the west are typically fraught with difficulties. I would want to read the Pope's ACTUAL SPEECH (which should be posted on the holy see's website at vatican(.)va) to see what was? actually said, not just some reporters second or third hand interpretation of it.

Pope Benedict has written entire libraries about Jesus, and he's certainly not looking to become Muslim. Popes usually speak in diplomatic language. remember the flack he got for quoting the harsh words of an Emperor against Muhammad. Muslims regard Jesus as a prophet, and so? I'd be surprised if they'd be offended if Jesus was mentioned in a speech by the leader of the world's ancient Christians.

use of "inclusive ...
use of "inclusive language" in bible translations has always been controversial. I'm simply skeptical of the claim that this was done to appease? "Muslims."

Muslims refer to ...
Muslims refer to Allah as "He" after all. if they were trying to placate Muslims they'd need to do a lot more to the bible than change the phrase "Son of God." Muslims reject the idea of Jesus dying, for example. that's a big one. in their view he was never crucified. a lot of the things Jesus said would offend them as well.? so I highly doubt this was done as you say. I'd like to see more proof first if you don't mind.

I'd like to see some more information about this "controversy." I'm immediately skeptical of such a claim. for starters, why would this be done to placate? Muslims? Muslims don't accept the Bible in the first place, and would have far bigger problems with it than the terms used to refer to the persons of the Trinity. If what you say is true (about the bible translations) it's far more likely it was done by liberal Christians who are offended by the divine "masculine"

No offence taken by this video, you made some good, well observed points! I am prayerfully considering what? you have said esp with how Christians use the internet. Have discussed some points with my husband and we have decided to speak to others about doing a bible study group on a regular basis. We dont have a TV always considered it Visual Valium! These heresies ...
These heresies quickly took over ALL the churches/seminaries in the USA, with few small exceptions. Less than a year ago, my wife and I reluctantly confronted leadership at our church for allowing another heresy related to this to be taught (Contemplative Spirituality). Fellow Christians there that I THOUGHT were mature in the faith called us evil? and divisive. The reason why we attended there was because they USED to speak AGAINST all these heresies! SPIRITUAL COMPROMISE CAN GROW SO FAST!

Amen Shaz...I am so glad you are one of the few who speaks out against these guys. Jubliee Church in Grantham, you need to stamp out this "Fire spirit" thing. Joyce Meyer..Jesus did not go to hell and your salavation does not depend on u? believing this. Baptised churches...you should be teaching about Gods plans for Israel, they need to hear it! I think Jacob Phrash has it spot on....."If your doctrine is wrong...you are wrong" I think small home groups are the way to go (my opinioun)

7- Christ is ...
7- Christ is exclusive. Many think? there is another way but all of these lead only to destruction. Jesus asks each of us: Who do you say that I am? 8- Will God eventually save everyone.... I guess you mean after death??? This is an interesting question and I do not know. It would be nice definitely. A subject for study. 9- I think church discpline should start with the leaders who are predators being ousted from their positions, that is the first things that need to happen. Make church safe.

5-It is the Holy ...
5-It is the Holy Spirit that convicts the worl of sin... not us. If we concentrate on being kind and sharing with others then the Holy Spirit will work through us to do as God wills in others' lives. It is important to listen to what God is leading us to share or not to. I believe the only "issue" that is paramount to discuss with those still in the kingdom of darkeness is salvation. 6-Hell. There is so much? sin in the church --with the church leaders who are predators-- I personally believe that God is more concerned with the salvation of any andrognous persons more than which sexual orientation they ultimately grow up into. Salvation is the main issue first and foremost. After salvation, allow God to grow each one up as God is the author and finisher of our faith. Ro 3:23. And God is not willing that any should perish. 4-Ro 2 and other scriptures pretty clear. i think it is better to error on the side of mercy rather than judgment because in? some cases only God is able to judge this --because of pollution in the environment and especially radiation... many people (zagoates) never fully develop into totally male or female and there are some who are both sexes within the same body and so this is where we must not judge but have aquire knowledge> understanding> wisdom in having extreme mercy for these ones. In answer to the q's: 1-Doctrine on salvation-not negotiable. Customs, culture, society; time place? era relative. 2-Jesus Christ is Lamb of Glory, God, Phil 2:5-11, In salvation there is none other. 3-Worship comes naturally in relationship as God reveals Who God is. It is our natural response and not the other way around. I think how one worships changes as one grows up in Christ. (con't)

As you were going through the questions --the parable of the 10 ten virgins came to mind. Other than the obvious truths within -Q-How was? it that in the very last moments these 5 foolish ones were even able to go and "buy" oil ? Logos v's rhema, the Bible being a "layered" revealing -1Cor 2:10-12, depends on one's depth of intimacy with The Lord. Some of these women are strong Christians and love Jesus and believe in Him as God as well. (Many I have met have been abused as young children- men and woman) IN the US.. there is a law I believe in California-I'll? have to look for it for you- but they want to start in Kindergarten and have a homosexual curriculum for the school..starting in Kindergarten!

So many (preachers) are changing. There are Some criticizing them..for changing their messages. "prosperity" "word of faith" different categories being criticized! Any thought on those? (I totally Agree with Jesus is the only Way.!!) SAme-sex marriage..I know what the right thing to say is..and I? have friends who have had "civil unions and have one partner...I don't know what to think...
